About
A data-driven profile — the science, analyses and forecasting behind what I've built.
Engineer and data analyst with a taste for science and prediction. As CTO at Marwa Retail I designed demand-forecasting models that drive allocation, restocking and transfers across 80+ retail locations — moving daily inventory decisions from guesswork to numbers, and cutting reporting time from 4 hours to 5 minutes.
At UM6P I built behavioral-science platforms with professors: game-theory experiments on cooperation (José Segovia Martín), attention analysis for ADHD assessment with computer vision (FatimaEzzahra BENMARRAKCHI), and the Deliberatorium decision-making platform with Mark Klein of MIT. I care about data-driven answers to "what happens next" — and about building the reliable systems that produce them.

CTO
Marwa Retail
Casablanca, Morocco
Owned the technical roadmap for a retail group end-to-end — hiring and leading a team of 4 developers while shipping the logistics, prediction and data platforms that run daily operations.
Leadership & delivery
- Recruited, hired and mentored a team of 4 developers — sprint planning, code reviews and delivery ownership.
- Explained technical progress and decisions to the client, keeping product and engineering aligned.
- Designed a microservices architecture: React frontend, Express on Bun, FastAPI data layer and PostgreSQL with Drizzle, secured with JWT & OAuth2.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines and Docker, and configured Caddy as a reverse proxy for automated SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Hosted and managed their website on AWS.
- Cut processing time from 4 hours (manual Excel) to 5 minutes through team automation efforts.

Skills
The tools and disciplines I reach for day to day, grouped by category.
Currently Learning
Self-directed Data Engineering track — closing the gap from where I am (strong SQL, Python, cloud and pipeline fundamentals) to the data-platform layer.
When a phase goes live, its items drop in below — a live build log rather than a static skills list.
Speak the language of analytics teams, not just backend engineering.
Move from "a script that moves data" to a managed, scheduled pipeline.
Handle scale, not just clean small datasets.
Close the biggest resume gap — the visible, demo-able layer recruiters scan for.
What separates junior from mid/senior data engineers in US job postings.
Education
Formal training and the pedagogy that shaped my engineering fundamentals.
1337 School, UM6P · Ben Guerir, Morocco
Computer Science · 42 Network pedagogy
- From-scratch systems projects in C (ft_ssl: MD5 & SHA-256, memory-safe builds, 42-style tests).
- Peer-to-peer pedagogy with a strong focus on problem decomposition and clean code.

Projects
Selected work — from low-level systems code to LLM-powered SaaS products.
Per-account auth modes (cookies / username+password), GoLogin profile binding and 1:1 residential proxies for IP isolation.
Playwright-driven scrapers (5 retailers) with per-product-per-day snapshots for price and discount tracking.
Object-oriented analyzer with full docstrings and type hints.
Full MD5 implemented from scratch, 42-Norm-compliant.
Idempotent role-based playbook: system updates, Docker install, directory scaffolding and file deployment via handlers.
Certifications
Credentials and structured programs I've completed.
